Meningkatkan Keterampilan Membaca Dongeng Berbantu Boneka Jari di Sekolah Dasar
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca teks cerita dongeng peserta didik melalui media boneka jari “Wayang Krucil” pada peserta didik kelas II SD Muhammadiyah 2 GKB. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan secara kolaborasi dengan guru kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas II SD Muhammadiyah 2 GKB yang berjumlah 20 peserta didik. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan model Arikunto yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan (Planning), pelaksanaan tindakan (Acting), pengamatan (Observing), dan refleksi (Reflecting). Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi aktivitas guru, lembar observasi aktivitas peserta didik, dan lembar tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media boneka jari “Wayang Krucil” dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca peserta didik. Peningkatan keterampilan membaca peserta didik dari hasil observasi aktivitas peserta didik, aktivitas guru dan tes. Dari hasil observasi aktivitas peserta didik dalam pembelajaran melalui media boneka jari “Wayang Krucil” dengan presentase 76 yang berada diantara rentang nilai 75 – 85 % dan termasuk ke dalam kategori baik. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru diperoleh bahwa pada siklus I tersebut guru memiliki kemampuan baik dalam mengelola pembelajaran dengan berbantu media boneka jari “Wayang Krucil” dengan jumlah skor 49 dan rata-rata yaitu 81,67% yang berada diantara skala 76 – 85 yang termasuk ke dalam kategori baik. Hasil tes hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus I mengalami peningkatan secara klasikal mencapai 85% dan telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang diharapkan.
