Kepemimpinan Belajar (Learning Leadership) Kepala Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Jawa Timur
Abstract
Sekolah Muhammadiyah merupakan sekolah Islam terbanyak di Indonesia dan Jawa Timur dapat dikatakan sebagai barometer kualitas sekolah
Muhammadiyah tersebut. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap hasil belajar siswa melalui guru sebagai pembelajar langsung di kelas, maka posisi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sangat strategis dalam pencapaian keefektifan manajemen sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pola kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Muhammadiyah Jawa Timur dalam menjalankan fungsi fungsi manajemen sekolah, yang diyakini memberikan kontribusi terhadap elemen elemen di sekolah, meliputi pengelolaan hubungan dan distribusi kewenangan pada proses pembelajaran oleh guru, dukungan yang dilakukan tenaga kependidikan, dan penyediaan serta penggunaan sarana prasarana penunjang. Desain penelitian menggunakan survai dengan menerapkan teknik area random sampling, dengan anggota sampel sebesar 510 guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Kepala SD Muhammadiyah Jawa Timur memandang penting dan menepatkan pada porsi tinggi ditunjukkan dengan skor rata rata tanggapan (skala 1-7) dari 510 responden, dalam mengembangkan rasa akuntabilitas pada guru untuk pembelajaran (6,09), memelihara hubungan kepercayaan, produktif, kerjasama di sekolah (6,05), memurnikan organisasi sekolah tetap selaras erat dengan pencapaian tujuan dan prioritas sekolah (5,98), upaya guru memantau kemajuan siswa (5,94
), mengembangkan kapasitas guru mengatasi tantangan pekerjaan terutama tantangan instruksional di kelas (5,94), dan bantuan mengidentifikasi arah yang jelas untuk guru termasuk keseluruhan tujuan dan prioritas (5,83).
