MENINGKATKAN KREATIFITAS MAHASISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SASTRA MELALUI INTEGRATED APPROACH
Abstract
Introduction to literature merupakan salah satu matakuliah content yang merupakan prasyarat agar mahasiswa bisa menempuh mata kuliah sastra lainnya. Mahasiswa semester 3 sebanyak 22 mahasiswa yang mengambil matakuliah ini merupakan mahasiswa yang pasif sehingga menjadi kurang kreatif. Oleh karena kreatifitas sangat dibutuhkan dalam pembelajaran sastra, maka pengajar berusaha meningkatkan kreatifitas mahasiswa dalam Introduction to literature.
Metode yang digunakan ialah melalui kegiatan lesson studi yang terdiri dari empat siklus dan
setiap siklus terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu plan, do dan see. Satu tim LS terdiri dari seorang dosen model
yang dipilih secara bergilir dan 3 observer. Pendekatan yang digunakan ialah integrated approach
yang terdiri dari pendekatan bahasa, pendekatan parafrase dan pendekatan moral. Hal ini
dikarenakan sastra mencakup prose, poetry dan drama yang analisanya juga membutuhkan berbagai
pendekatan.
Dari keempat siklus yang telah diadakan, data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kreatifitas mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran sastra melalui pendekatan integrasi. Mereka mampu untuk memahami karya sastra dengan baik, mampu mengintepretasikannya, bahkan menampilkan
dan membuat karya sastra sendiri. Saran yang disampaikan dalam artikel ini adalah agar open lesson
diadakan untuk semua mata kuliah karena memberi dampak yang positif bagi mahasiswa maupun
dosen.
