MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PENGUKURAN PANJANG MELALUI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN TANGGA KONVERSI SATUAN SISWA KELAS III A UPT SD NEGERI 6 GRESIK

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement in students' learning outcomes with the aid of a conversion ladder in measurement material. The measurement material covers two topics: length and weight. The Conversion Ladder can help students increase their interest in learning, making it easier for them to understand the material on unit conversions for length and weight, and making the learning process more enjoyable. The conversion ladder is used as a tool to apply the concept of standard unit conversion by transforming known standard units into specified standard units, allowing students to grasp the concept of conversion more easily. The learning approach employed in this study is Problem-Based Learning (PBL). The subjects of this research are 30 students from Grade 3A at UPT SD Negeri 6 Gresik, Gresik District, Gresik Regency. This study includes the results of a series of activities conducted in Cycle 1 and Cycle 2. Based on the findings, it was concluded that students' learning outcomes showed an improvement from the pre-cycle phase to Cycle 1 and Cycle 2.
