TINGKAT PEMAHAMAN PERSAMAAN DIFFERENTIAL MERUJUK PADA TINGKAT PEMAHAMAN GEOMETRI DERAJAT v HIELE
Abstract
Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan hasil tingkat pemahaman mata kuliah Persamaan
Diffrential berdasarkan pada tingkat pemahaman geometri derajat v Hiele, yang
bersesuaian dengan pola tingkat pemahaman konsep Geometri ruang, Geometri Analit,
dan Media Pembelajaran Matematik, pada penelitian pendahuluan di UMG Gresik.
Instrumen tes merupakan konversi terjemahan yang berasal dari tes geometri v Hiele
konstruksi CDASSG (Usiskin dan Wilson,1990) menjadi tes persamaan diffrential yang
terdiri dari 25 butir soal multiple choise dengan 5 foil setiap butir dan 5 butir setiap tingkat
yang diadministrasikan kepada 42 mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Matematika Unmuh
Gresik dengan hasil sebagai berikut: 14, 10, 6, 3, 1, atau 33,33%; 23,81%; 14,28%;
7,14%, 2,38 % responden masing-masing pada tingkat: Visualisasi, Analisis, Deduksi-
Informasi, Deduksi, dan Rigor, dan 8 mahasiswa atau 19,04 % responden tidak
terklasifikasi pada derajat v Hiele. Tingkat ini bersesuaian dengan tingkat pemahaman
pada mata kuliah Geometri ruang, Geometri Analit, dan Media Pembelajaran Matematik,
dengan hasil: 10, 8, 5, 3, 0, kemudian 12, 8, 5, 2, 1 dan 10, 8, 6, 2, 1 atau 31,25%; 25%;
15,62%; 9,38%, 0 % , kemudian 37, 5%; 25%; 15,62%; 6,25%, 3,125 % 31,25%; 25%;
18,78%; 6,25%, 3,125 % dan sebanyak 6, 4 dan 5 atau 18,78%, 12,5% dan 15,625%
responden yang tidak terklasifikasi dalam derajat v Hiele, yang dalam proses pembelajaran
memang tampak tidak mampu memahami konsep ke empat mata kuliah tersebut.
Penelitian ini, dapat diklasifikasi berdasarkan pemetaan berbantuan diagram Venn dengan
4 (empat) himpunan induk dalam semesta Sik.
