The Effect of Self-Efficacy on Self-Adjustment In Students
Abstract
Changes in time that began in high school to collage ultimately requires students to face the bar environtment and do adjustment. Adjustment is an individual’s ongoing interaction with themleves, others, and their environtment. Good adjustment can be achieved when : have the ability to control themselves and have self-confidence which is called self-efficacy. The purpose of this study in determine whether there in an effect of self-efficacy on self-adjustment in students of the 2021 Faculty of Psychology at University Muhammadiyah Gresik. The result of the simple linear regression test in the study show that value of sig 0,002 < 0,05 which means that there is an influence between self-efficacy on adjustment with the self-efficacy variable contributed 12,5% to the variable adjustment. For the next researcher can test other variables that might affect self-adjustment, for example psychological factors, environmental factors and cultural factors.
