The availability of clear, accurate, and easily accessible information is an important indicator in improving the quality of public services at the village level. In many rural areas, including Gunungsari Village, limitations in information facilities and administrative support infrastructure remain obstacles to delivering effective and efficient public services. One of the identified issues was the absence of proper identification boards at the residences of the Village Head and Hamlet Heads, which made it difficult for community members to recognize the officials’ locations and access administrative services promptly. This condition not only hindered service effectiveness but also potentially reduced transparency and public information openness within the village administration. This community service program aimed to design, produce, and install identification boards for the Village Head and Hamlet Heads as a supporting medium to enhance public access to information. The implementation method included field observation, needs assessment, coordination with village officials, development of an informative and readable design, production using durable and weather-resistant materials, and installation in strategic and visible locations. The results demonstrate that the installation of identification boards positively contributed to helping residents easily locate the officials’ residences, improving communication flow, and accelerating administrative service processes. Furthermore, the presence of these identification boards strengthened the institutional image and identity of the village government. Overall, this program shows that simple informational infrastructure innovations can provide meaningful contributions to improving public service quality and encouraging greater community participation at the village level. With the establishment of these identification boards, it is expected that a more organized, transparent, and responsive village information system can be achieved.
