The XYZ purun weaving MSME faces production and marketing challenges. This situation indicates that the governance of the XYZ purun weaving MSME is not yet functioning optimally. Effective governance should support production process management, expand market reach, and enhance business competitiveness and sustainability. This study aims to analyze the application of MSME governance principles within the XYZ purun weaving business. A descriptive research method was employed. The results indicate that the application of governance principles at the XYZ purun weaving MSME falls into three categories: implemented, implemented but not yet optimal, and not yet implemented. First, the implemented category comprises two principles: accountability in operational functions and independence. Second, the implemented but not yet optimal category includes three principles: accountability in human resource functions, accountability in marketing functions, and responsibility. Third, the not yet implemented category consists of three principles: transparency, accountability in financial functions, and fairness. The research findings contribute management information that serves as a basis for formulating practices aimed at optimizing the governance of the XYZ purun weaving MSME to enhance its performance.
