Systematic Literature Review: Tantangan Dekadensi Akhlak Dan Pembiasaan Ibadah Pada Mahasiswa Gen Z

Abstract

The pehenomenon of moral decadence has become a concerning reality among university students, leading to crises of spiritual, academis and social integrity. Cultivating the habit of religious practice wtihin the university enviremont is essential to safeguarding students character. Consequently, this study maps the challanges of moral decadence among generation z students and the role of habitual religious practice. Employing a systematic literature review design based on PRISMA 2020 guidlines, the study analyzes 16 selected artcles published between 2018 and 2026, sourced form Google Scholar, SINTA, Garuda, Scopus. The findings reveal manifestations of moral decadence such as a crisis of digital etiquiette, declining academic integrity and hedonistic lifestyle. Proposed solutions involve fostering religious habits through a combination of mahdhah (ritual) and ghairu mahdhah (social) acts of worship, curriculum integration and educators setting a positive example. Establishing these habits can enhance self-control, mental well-being and academic integruty grounded in the value of ihsan (spiritual excellence).
