The advancement of science and technology has expanded human capacity to understand and transform life. It has also raised concerns about academic honesty, researchers’ responsibility, and the purposes for which knowledge is used. This article examines the relationship between scholarly ethos, scholarly codes of ethics, and three discourses of knowledge integration in Islam: the Islamization of knowledge, the scientification of Islam, and integration-interconnection. The study employs library research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The analysis organizes concepts, compares ideas, and synthesizes their relationships. Scholarly ethos concerns the intellectual dispositions and habits that support the pursuit of truth, while a code of ethics translates such values into accountable standards of conduct. The Islamization of knowledge emphasizes critical examination of the assumptions and orientations of modern knowledge; the scientification of Islam seeks to formulate Islamic values and intellectual heritage within systematic frameworks; and integration-interconnection encourages dialogue among disciplines without erasing methodological differences. The article argues that integration requires a strong scholarly ethos and ethical standards to ensure that knowledge production and application remain honest, critical, transparent, and oriented toward public benefit.
