Peran Game Edukatif Dalam Meningkatkan Kesiapan Sosial Emosional Anak Pada Masa Transisi PAUD ke SD

This study is motivated by the importance of children’s social-emotional readiness during the transition from Early Childhood Education to Elementary School. In this phase, children need self-confidence, peer interaction skills, and emotional regulation skills to adapt to a more formal learning environment. This study aims to explore the role of the educational game Endless Alphabet in improving children’s social-emotional readiness during the transition from early childhood education to elementary school. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study design. The subjects were 20 children aged 5 to 6 years at RA Raudhatul Hidayah Sindang Laut. Data were collected through observation, interviews with teachers and parents, and documentation of children’s learning activities. The results show that the use of the educational game Endless Alphabet had a positive impact on children’s social-emotional readiness. The most dominant improvement appeared in self-confidence, as children became more willing to answer questions, follow instructions, and present their game results. Social interaction also improved through behaviors such as taking turns, helping peers, and playing together. In addition, children showed better emotional regulation, including being more patient, less easily frustrated, and more willing to try again after failure. This study concludes that Endless Alphabet can serve as a learning medium that supports children’s social-emotional readiness when used purposefully and accompanied by teachers and parents.
