Assistance in the Preparation of a Business Plan for the Merah Putih Village Cooperative for Local Economic Development Based on Regional Potential

Village cooperatives play a strategic role as a driving force for the people's economy, but many are not yet optimal due to limited managerial capabilities and the absence of a structured business plan. This research/community service activity aims to assist the managers of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative in developing a comprehensive business plan to map and optimize regional potential. The method used is a participatory approach through field observation, SWOT analysis of village potential, and workshops to prepare business plan documents covering marketing, operational, human resources, and financial aspects. The results of the mentoring indicate that the Merah Putih Village Cooperative successfully identified superior regional commodities as priority business units. The resulting business plan document serves as a strategic guide for administrators to run operations professionally, transparently, and sustainably. Through careful planning, the cooperative is expected to be able to increase the added value of local products, expand market access, and ultimately have a real impact on improving the economic welfare of the Merah Putih Village community.
