Abstract

This community service program aimed to address the managerial capacity gap of Tokomu PRM Bangunjiwo Barat, a community-based enterprise, by developing a strategic business and institutional roadmap to support sustainable business development and transformation into a community cooperative. The program was implemented at PRM Bangunjiwo Barat, Kasihan District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, from February to April 2026, involving 35 participants. A participatory approach was employed through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), program socialisation, strategic business roadmap workshops, operational efficiency training, market analysis, digital marketing strategy training, and implementation mentoring. The finding indicators included participants' understanding of business planning, business governance, transaction recording, inventory management, operational cost control, and digital marketing. The program yielded a development roadmap and institutional framework, standard operating procedures (SOPs), a simplified transaction recording format, and a digital marketing strategy. The results demonstrate improved participant understanding regarding professional, transparent, and accountable business management, as well as the establishment of a systematic direction for business development. This program contributes to the development of an inclusive, competitive, and sustainable community enterprise.
