The integration of ethnoscience into STEM-based learning offers a culturally contextual approach for elementary education in Indonesia, yet research on Ethno-STEM-based student worksheets (LKPD) and their relation to critical thinking remains underexplored. This study aims to identify research trends, publication patterns, keyword relationships, and gaps concerning Ethno-STEM, LKPD, and critical thinking in elementary education. A descriptive bibliometric analysis was conducted using Publish or Perish with Google Scholar, employing the keyword “etno-stem” for 2020–2026 and complemented by focused searches using “LKPD etno-stem” and “Etno-STEM, LKPD, critical thinking.” Data exported in CSV and RIS formats were analyzed using VOSviewer for density and co-occurrence network visualization. The corpus comprised 582 publications with 2,344 citations, an average of 390.67 citations per year, and an h-index of 22. Density visualization revealed “etno stem” and “stem” as the dominant keywords, whereas “LKPD” and “students critical thinking skills” appeared in low-density zones. Network visualization confirmed that LKPD and critical thinking had not yet formed strong connections with the core Ethno-STEM cluster. These findings highlight a consistent research gap: Ethno-STEM research has developed considerably in general but has rarely been integrated into LKPD designed to foster critical thinking. This gap offers a novel direction for developing Ethno-STEM-based LKPD to enhance critical thinking among elementary students within the Kurikulum Merdeka context.

Open Data and Software Publishing and Sharing
The journal strives to maximize the replicability of the research published in it. Authors are thus required to share all data, code or protocols underlying the research reported in their articles. Exceptions are permitted but have to be justified in a written public statement accompanying the article.
Datasets and software should be deposited and permanently archived inappropriate, trusted, general, or domain-specific repositories (please consult http://service.re3data.org and/or software repositories such as GitHub, GitLab, Bioinformatics.org, or equivalent). The associated persistent identifiers (e.g. DOI, or others) of the dataset(s) must be included in the data or software resources section of the article. Reference(s) to datasets and software should also be included in the reference list of the article with DOIs (where available). Where no domain-specific data repository exists, authors should deposit their datasets in a general repository such as ZENODO, Dryad, Dataverse, or others.
Small data may also be published as data files or packages supplementary to a research article, however, the authors should prefer in all cases a deposition in data repositories.
