Abstract

Background – Operational processes, especially aniani4d in terms of shipment regulation, are important processes in companies operating in the service sector.
Objective – This study aims to identify factors causing late deliveries, wrong addresses or routes, and lost or damaged deliveries at PT. POS Indonesia (Regional Office V Surabaya).
Design / Methodology / Approach – The research method used is descriptive quantitative research with a survey approach and correlational data analysis.
Findings – The results of the study show that late delivery, wrong address or route, lost or damaged shipments are caused by individual negligence, so the first step taken is to give a warning, then the company also carries out training related to SOPs so that each officer understands the distribution workflow correctly.
Research Implication – This research demonstrates the importance of improving the logistics system at PT. POS Indonesia (Regional Office V Surabaya). Practically, these findings can encourage management to implement an integrated logistics information system and improve staff competency in the distribution process.
Limitations – This research is limited to a single location, PT. POS Indonesia (Regional Office V Surabaya), so the results cannot be generalized. The data used is qualitative and relies on respondents' perceptions, and does not include a comprehensive analysis of logistics costs or efficiency.
