This study aims to assess the catch diversity of the KM. New Harum Sari 2, which uses a mini purse seine fishing gear at the Tasikagung Fishing Port, Rembang. The mini purse seine is a common fishing gear used to catch small, economically valuable pelagic fish. Catch data was analyzed to determine the species composition and diversity of the captured fish. The research results are expected to provide a basis for sustainable fisheries resource management. This research was conducted at Tasikagung Coastal Fishing Port (PPP), Rembang, from February 29 to April 5, 2024. Tasikagung PPP is located in Tasikagung Village, Rembang District, Central Java. The study aimed to determine the number of fish catches and morphology based on WPP 712. Data were collected through observation, interview, field practice, and documentation, with primary and secondary data sources. The results showed that flyfish (Decapterus spp) dominated the catch (88%), while siro fish (Amblygaster srim) was the least (2%). The morphology of the caught fish varied, such as the oblong flat-shaped yellow mackerel weighing 57-199 grams and 15-22 cm long.
