Optimalisasi Peran Orang Tua dalam Pengembangan Bahasa Anak Usia Dini di PAUD Nurul Islam

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of parental communication in enhancing the language intelligence of young children at PAUD Nurul Islam 1 Ragang, Waru, Pamekasan. This study employs aqualitative method in the form of a field study. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that parental communication plays a crucial role in the development of children’s language intelligence through three main aspects: openness in expressing thoughts and feelings, empathy in interactions, and efforts to maintain harmonious family relationships. Such communication patterns encourage children to actively interact and express themselves, thereby allowing their language skills to develop optimally. Improvements in language intelligence are evident in the listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities of young children.
