Scientific literacy in early childhood plays an important role in helping children understand natural phenomena through activities such as observing, asking questions, experimenting, and drawing simple conclusions. This study aims to improve the scientific literacy of children aged 5–6 years at Permata Bunda Sriminosari Kindergarten through the implementation of the Project Based Learning approach. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with data collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation, involving 15 children as research subjects. The results showed that in the initial conditions, most children still had difficulty in making simple observations and understanding cause-and-effect relationships. After the implementation of the action, there was an increase in scientific literacy as indicated by an increase in the percentage of the Developing According to Expectations (BSH) category, namely from 26.7% in the pre-cycle to 53.3% in Cycle I and increasing again to 86.7% in Cycle II. These results indicate that the established success indicators have been achieved.
