About the Journal

Indonesian Journal of Midwifery Today (IJMT) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik, Indonesia. The journal is registered with the International Standard Serial Numbers (ISSN) P-ISSN: 2803-3313 and E-ISSN: 2809-2163.

IJMT aims to disseminate scientific ideas, conceptual perspectives, and research findings that contribute to the advancement of midwifery science, education, and practice. The journal provides an academic platform for researchers, lecturers, healthcare professionals, and practitioners to share scientific evidence and developments in the field of midwifery.

The journal primarily focuses on key issues and developments in midwifery, covering a broad range of topics, including pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, family planning, reproductive health, complementary midwifery care, parenting, and other relevant areas related to midwifery science and practice.

Indonesian Journal of Midwifery Today (IJMT) has been nationally accredited at SINTA 5 (Accreditation Rank 5) by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, based on Decree No. 156/C/C3/KPT/2026, dated April 7, 2026. The re-accreditation is effective from Volume 2, Issue 2 (2023) through Volume 7, Issue 1 (2028).

IJMT is published biannually, with issues released in May and November.
