This study aims to find out information or an overview of the effectiveness of using serial image media on the beginning writing skills of first-grade students at SDN 1 Jalaksana. This study uses a True Experimental research method with a research design that is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research sample in this study were students of class 1A and class 1B, with the sampling technique using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The research instrument used was a written test that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis techniques used were normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test using the t-test (Independent Sample T-test), and N-Gain test. The results of the hypothesis test showed that the Sig. value was 0.000 <0.05, which means there was an effect of using serial image media on the beginning writing skills of first-grade students at SDN 1 Jalaksana. To determine the effectiveness of serial image media, researchers used the N-Gain test. The results of the N-Gain test showed an N-Gain Score of 0.61 and an N-Gain Percent of 61%. This indicates that picture series media is quite effective in improving the beginning writing skills of first-grade students at SDN 1 Jalaksana. Further research is recommended to develop variations of digital-based serial image media, test its effectiveness at different grade levels, and combine it with other learning approaches to obtain more comprehensive results.

Open Data and Software Publishing and Sharing
The journal strives to maximize the replicability of the research published in it. Authors are thus required to share all data, code or protocols underlying the research reported in their articles. Exceptions are permitted but have to be justified in a written public statement accompanying the article.
Datasets and software should be deposited and permanently archived inappropriate, trusted, general, or domain-specific repositories (please consult http://service.re3data.org and/or software repositories such as GitHub, GitLab, Bioinformatics.org, or equivalent). The associated persistent identifiers (e.g. DOI, or others) of the dataset(s) must be included in the data or software resources section of the article. Reference(s) to datasets and software should also be included in the reference list of the article with DOIs (where available). Where no domain-specific data repository exists, authors should deposit their datasets in a general repository such as ZENODO, Dryad, Dataverse, or others.
Small data may also be published as data files or packages supplementary to a research article, however, the authors should prefer in all cases a deposition in data repositories.
