The inadequate conceptual knowledge of students regarding changes in the states of matter served as the impetus for this investigation. Pupils still struggle to recognize the many kinds of changes and connect them to real-world scenarios. Teacher-centered learning strategies that restrict students' active participation are the cause of this problem. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how well the Guided Discovery Learning paradigm, with assistance from PhET Simulation, enhances primary school pupils' conceptual grasp of IPAS (Integrated Science and Social Studies). This study used a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design using a quantitative methodology. After collecting the results of the pretest and posttest, the paired sample t-test and N-Gain were employed for analysis. A significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores was found in the paired sample t-test results, with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. The N-Gain score of 0.8439 indicates that it is categorised as high. Thus, it has been demonstrated that the Guided Discovery Learning approach, aided by PhET Simulation, is successful in improving students' conceptual comprehension of changes in the states of matter.
