EDUKASI TEMPER TANTRUM DAN UPAYA PENANGANANNYA, BAGI IBU WALI KELAS/GURU DI TK PEMBANGUNAN V YAPIS KOTA JAYAPURA, PAPUA

Temper tantrum merupakan luapan emosi anak usia dini yang muncul karena dipicu oleh berbagai faktor seperti lapar, kelelahan, keinginan yang belum tercapai, menangis dan melakukan hal negatif launnya lebih dari lima belas menit. Keadaan tersebut sangat mengganggu lingkungan pembelajaran dan lingkungan rumah jika tidak ditangani secara tepat. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman bagi para guru dan orang tua terhadap tantrum anak. Metode kegitan memilih ceramah, tanya jawab dan diskusi terkait tantrum anak. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang tantrum ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata rata skor pre test 49.89 dengan rentang nilai 40-60 menjadi rata rata post test sebesar 76.28 dengan rentang nilai 65 sampai 90. Data tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan sebanyak 26.39 point yang memebrikan gambaran bahwa metode yang digunakan dalam penyuluhan efektif dan menarik perhatian peserta. Dampak kegiatan adalah menambah referensi peserta untuk penanganan tantrum anak di sekolah dan lingkungan rumah.
