Ethics Statement
Kontribusia journal is a journal that facilitate the lecturers and researchers to disseminate their research skills by applying through community service in the field of communications science technology, science, education, culture and social development of society. Statement ethics code of this scientific publication by LIPI Chief Regulation No. 5 of 2014 on the Code of Ethics of Scientific Publications, which basically Scientific Publication Ethics Code is essentially upholds the three values of ethics in the publication.
1. Neutrality, which is free from conflicting interests in managing publications;
2. Justice, namely giving authorship rights to those entitled as authors / writers; and
3. Honesty, which is free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism in publications.
Duties and Responsibilities of Editor in Chief
- Determine the name of the journal, scope of science, validity, and accreditation if necessary.
- Define editor membership.
- Define the relationships between publishers, editors, bestari partners, and other parties.
- Appreciate things that are confidential, both for researchers who contribute, authors/writers, editors, and colleagues.
- Applying the norms and provisions regarding the rights of intellectual property, in particular copyright.
- Conduct policy review journals and present it to the authors, editors, colleagues, and readers.
- Make the code behaves guide for editors and colleagues.
- Publish journals regularly.
- Ensuring the availability of resources for the sustainability of the publishing journal.
- Building a network of cooperation and marketing.
- Improving journal quality.
- Prepare licensing and other aspects of legality.
Editor's Duties and Responsibilities
- The editor provides comments written on the manuscript.
- The editor makes comments on the author's manuscript according to Enhanced Spelling or language that is in accordance with the standardization of the journal.
- Editor strive to increase the quality of publications in a sustainable manner;
- Editor objectively prioritize free speech,
- The editor submits corrections, clarifications, withdrawals, and apologies if needed,
- The editor ensures that the manuscript does not involve discrimination or anything that can harm the Publisher and coordinates the manuscript with the editor in chief if the article is controversial.
- The Editor accepts, examines, and follows up on complaints from all parties involved in publishing the journal;
- The editor supports initiatives to educate researchers about publication ethics,
- Editors do not maintain their own opinion, the author or third parties which may result in a decision not objective,
- Editors encourage authors/writers, in order to make improvements to deserve published papers.
- The editor does the script layout to be published according to the template.
- Editor forming board in the finalization of the collection of manuscripts before they are printed and publicized, especially in terms of language, format and layout.
Duties and Responsibilities of peer review
- Provide objective and unbiased written feedback on the value of scholarship and contribution of texts to the development of science;
- Indicates whether the script writing quite clear, complete, and relevant, and whether the manuscript in accordance with the scope of the journal;
- Not criticism or comments are personal; and
- Maintaining the confidentiality of the script, with no way to talk to an unrelated party, or disclose the information contained in the text to other parties.
Duties and Responsibilities of Website Administrator
Website administrator is the person responsible for managing the journal website. Specifically, the scope of duties of a Website Administrator is as follows:
- Setting up a journal website;
- Configure system options and manage user accounts;
- Register for editors, reviewers, and writers;
- Manage journal features;
- View report statistics; and
- Upload/publish papers that have accepted status.
