UNIDROIT Arrangements on The Development of International Trade Contract Law

Abstract

The development of economic integrity and globalization allows for the great interdependence of relations between countries. The increase in international business encourages the development of the legal order that regulates it. In the context of its development, it can be studied how far international trade contract law has developed. The author's goal is to find out the development of international trade contract law. The research method used in this writing is a type of normative legal research with data collection methods through library research. Technical data analysis is done deductively. The results of the research and discussion on the development of international instruments for regulating trade contract law and the role of international institutions or organizations for the development of international trade contracts (UNIDROIT). UNIDROIT can be a system that can bridge the settlement of conflicting trade activities between countries that have different legal systems.
