Pelatihan dan Pendampingan Laporan Keuangan Berbasis Microsoft Excel pada Man Anam Bale Dahar melalui Pendekatan ABCD

Abstract

Purpose – This community service program aims to improve the ability of micro business actors to compile and implement simple financial reports based on Microsoft Excel to realize more transparent, accountable, and sustainable financial management.

Design/methodology/approach – The activity was carried out at Man Anam Catering Bale Dahar in the Bale Tani Tourism area, Jombang Regency, using the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach through the stages of discovery, dream, design, and destiny. The program includes training, mentoring, provision of pocket books, and the implementation of Microsoft Excel-based financial statement templates.

Findings – The program has successfully improved the understanding and skills of partners in recognizing accounts, recording transactions, compiling simple financial reports, and separating personal and business finances. Partners are also able to operate Microsoft Excel templates as a financial recording tool in their business activities.

Originality/value – The advantage of this program lies in the integration of the ABCD approach with the development of a simple, applicable, and Microsoft Excel-based financial reporting system that is tailored to the characteristics of micro enterprises, thereby encouraging active participation of partners and increasing the sustainability of the implementation of financial management.
