This study aims to design and implement a web-based academic information system for SMAN 13 Kabupaten Tangerang to enhance the accessibility of academic information and support both students and teachers in staying informed with the latest academic developments. The research adopts the System Usability Scale (SUS) as its evaluation method—a tool created by John Brooke in 1986 that is widely used to measure the usability of systems such as software, hardware, mobile apps, and websites. The findings reveal that the average SUS score achieved by the developed system is 93.08. Given that the standard benchmark score for SUS is 68, this result reflects an excellent level of usability. Furthermore, the adoption of this web-based academic information system is expected to improve the management of academic data at SMAN 13 Kabupaten Tangerang, allowing for streamlined access to student and teacher records, class schedules, and classroom assignments, while also contributing to reduced paper consumption in academic operations.
